Like many training providers, operator training is the “bread & butter” of Forklift Training Specialties. The difference with FTS is that training on Powered Industrial Trucks is the only type of operator training offered.

Although the operator training provided by FTS is fully compliant with OSHA standards, the change in behavior and habits are the driving force of how the classes are conducted.

The top priority of everything done by FTS is Personal Protection Awareness and that is stressed throughout the forklift classes that start in the classroom and then go out to the areas of operation for inspection of the equipment, demonstrations and practical evaluation.

To retain the thoroughness required for this OSHA-mandated training, the number of people is often limited according to the amount of time allotted and variation of types of equipment. In other words, with specialized training comes customized quoting and therefore, to maximize results [predictability], sometimes a (free) pre-quote/class assessment will be requested.
